Terms of service

The service

Inspired lets people discover public inspiration records and, after connecting an ATProto account, publish inspiration records through the app. Inspired is a prototype, provided without a promise that it will always be available, complete, or error-free.

Your account and content

You must use an ATProto account that you are authorized to use. You remain responsible for the records and notes you publish. Do not submit content that is unlawful, infringes another person’s rights, contains personal information you do not have permission to share, or is abusive, misleading, or harmful.

Inspiration records are written to your PDS as public ATProto records. Deleting a record in Inspired requests deletion from your PDS, but copies or indexes maintained by others may persist.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• interfere with, overload, probe, or bypass the service or its security controls;
• use the service to scrape, collect, or republish data in violation of applicable law or another service’s terms;
• misrepresent your identity, impersonate another person, or use another person’s ATProto account without permission;
• use Inspired to distribute malware, spam, or other harmful material.

Third-party services and public data

Inspired relies on ATProto and may show data from Wikidata, Google Books, Open Library, YouTube, and other linked websites. We do not control those services or the public data they provide. Their terms and policies apply when you use them.

Changes and ending access

We may change, suspend, or end the prototype at any time. We may limit access where reasonably necessary to protect the service or other people. You can stop using Inspired at any time by disconnecting your account and deleting the records you no longer want to publish.
